Verified Reviewer |Complaint - Discount Offers Not Honored
Over the past three weeks Bel Air Market on Grass Valley Highway in Auburn, CA has overcharged me by not honoring weekly ad prices and also not honoring customer loyalty coupons. Specifically, on July 25, 2022, the weekly ad offered Thomas' English Muffins and bagels for $2.99.
I ended up paying $5.99 for the bagels. Also, grapes were supposed to be $1.77 lb., but I was charged $9.81 for 2.81 lbs. Although I can't remember the overcharged amounts for last week (misplaced the receipt), this week I had four customer loyalty coupons that were entered by the cashier. Sadly, one of the coupons did not register the 50% off one dozen cage free eggs, so I ended up paying $4.98 instead of $2.49.
Lastly, I purchased Raley's basil in a plastic snap container that was marked in the produce section as on sale for $1.99, but I was charged $2.28. We have been loyal customers since we moved to Auburn from Southern California in 1999, and I am unhappy about this continuing debacle -- especially when the prices of food items have risen so outrageously high.
